We Need Your Help!

Calling All Volunteers

Your Shedders management team, composed entirely of unpaid volunteers, dedicates an immense amount of effort to run and develop our company. However, we can't do it all on our own, and we need your assistance.

Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Application

Can you help us secure essential funding for our community-driven initiatives?

We're looking for someone who can help with some, or all of the following:

Research and identify suitable grant opportunities for Looe Shedders. Craft compelling grant applications to secure funding up to £5000. Collaborate closely with our team to highlight the impact of our activities and the needs of our community. Support us in continuing our mission of fostering creativity, well-being, and connection through our community projects.

Why volunteer for this task?

Make a real difference: Your efforts will have a tangible impact on the lives of local people. Join a passionate team: Be part of a supportive, friendly, and dedicated group. Contribute your skills: Directly help grow our initiatives and enhance our positive community impact.

Volunteer Opportunity: Become a Welfare Officer for Looe Shedders

Are you a compassionate and caring individual who enjoys helping others? Looe Shedders needs YOU!

Your Role:

Check in with members who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Encourage their participation in our group activities and meetings. Find them a “buddy” to help them settle in. Provide support and reassurance, ensuring all members feel welcome and valued. Help create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Why Volunteer as a Welfare Officer?

Make a positive difference: Your efforts will have a tangible impact on someone's life. Build connections: Forge strong bonds with community members. Promote well-being: Play a key role in reducing loneliness and promoting well-being. Enjoy satisfaction: Experience the joy of helping others feel part of the Looe Shedders family. Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you're helping others feel part of the Looe Shedders family.
